Enjoying The Sunshine?

Our Summer Newsletter For Learners

Hello To The Dynamic Training Community,

As we enjoy the long, sunny days and navigate a summer filled with warmth, and even a few heatwaves, I hope you are finding time to recharge and take care of yourselves. While the weather has certainly been making headlines, things have been just as lively here at Dynamic Training!

Over the past few months, our team has been incredibly busy, not least because we recently welcomed Ofsted for a full inspection. I want to take this opportunity to say a heartfelt thank you to all our learners, staff, partners, and employers. Your dedication, support, and commitment throughout this period have truly made a difference, and I am so proud to be part of such a passionate and resilient community.

I wish you all a wonderful summer and look forward to continuing our journey together.

Warm regards,

Claire Gardner

Managing Director, Dynamic Training

Announcing Our Ofsted Results

We are delighted to share with you the results from our inspection in June. Dynamic Training has retained its Good rating overall, with several areas of Outstanding. These results are a testament to the collective effort and high standards we maintain together.

Here are some highlights from the report:

  • Overall Effectiveness: Good
  • Behaviour and Attitudes: Outstanding
  • Personal Development: Outstanding
  • Quality of Education: Good
  • Leadership and Management: Good
  • Apprenticeships: Good

Ofsted inspectors praised our apprentices for their enthusiasm and pride in their learning. They noted that our coaches create “a calm, productive and professional learning environment where apprentices thrive,” and that “apprentices are proud to study with Dynamic Training, feel valued and encouraged to succeed.” The report also recognised our commitment to inclusion, stating that “leaders actively support social mobility to create an inclusive workforce,” and highlighted the “high-quality resources” and “effective support” available to all our learners.

We are especially proud of our outstanding ratings in Behaviour and Attitudes and Personal Development. These reflect not only the professionalism and respect shown by our apprentices, but also the supportive, inclusive culture we strive to build every day.

This achievement is shared by everyone in our community, including our learners, line managers, employers, partners, and staff.

Update: UCAS Tariff Points for Apprenticeships

From the 2026 entry cycle (September), UCAS is introducing a new Tariff points structure that now includes Level 3 apprenticeships alongside A-levels, T Levels, and other post-16 qualifications. This means your apprenticeship is now recognised in the same way as traditional academic routes when applying to university or college.

What Are UCAS Tariff Points?

UCAS Tariff points are a way to measure and compare different qualifications for university admissions. For the first time, Level 3 apprenticeships can earn UCAS points, making it easier for universities and colleges to assess your apprenticeship alongside A Levels and T Levels.

Key Features Of The New System

  • Standardisation: Apprenticeships now receive UCAS Tariff points based on their duration, aligning them with traditional qualifications.
  • Support: Admissions teams can now evaluate apprenticeships alongside A Levels and T Levels for university entry including Degree Apprenticeships.
  • Access: More pathways into higher education are now open to apprentices, supporting a diverse range of progression routes.

Why Has UCAS Made These Changes?
The new model was shaped by feedback from universities, employers, and apprenticeship providers:

  • 75% of respondents supported the new model.
  • 56% agreed with using duration as a measure for apprenticeship size.
  • 67% said the model aligns with UCAS’s principles for fair and balanced recognition.

These updates aim to make the system fairer and to better support apprentices’ progression to higher education.

Key Information For Learners

  • All apprenticeship pathways across the UK will be listed in the UCAS Tariff tables from May 2025.
  • Durations and credits will be shown alongside Tariff points, so you can easily find your programme.
  • You can filter apprenticeships by UK nation to find relevant information.
  • UCAS encourages universities to list Tariff points in entry criteria to make it easier for apprentices to apply.
